  Considering it's position in the wood, it could be of a better standard inside. Standard although expensive for basics menu but good selection of drinks and nibbles. Does play sports.

  Nice play area for the kids, but will avoid in the future. The staff are generally quite rude, they can't keep track of what you have ordered and what they have brought to the table, so you have to keep asking and reminding them what is outstanding. The food portions aren't very big, and coupled with the very expensive pricing for both food and drink it definitely isn't value for money (£7 for two cokes on tap, and not even from the normally more expensive bottles, is a complete joke). Burgers were full of gristle, avocado in the baguettes were practically off and they have filled the heinz ketchup bottles with a very cheap vinegar tasting alternative.

  I have two teens and wanted to treat them to lunch. Food though expensive i.e. ham egg and chips £9.50! The food was lovely and we didn't have to wait long, staff friendly.
  Down side group of mums with their kids ranging from 4-9, mums sat drinking one end of the food area drinking, the kids the other and shouting out for their mums as if at home to see to them! Difficult to hold a conversation with my two and when the kids had eaten we had them running about between their table and the mums! When mine were that young I'd have been mortified at their behaviour but the staff were great. Think their behaviour cleared the food area as it was just us and them left, I'd have liked to have stayed longer but the kids were off putting.
  Think if we went back it wouldn't be during half term
